How are you all doing today? It's already the second week of September and we are still having the days of Winter in Cape Town.  I think that essence made a smart move to create a cosmetic limited edition called Wake up, spring!, because that's exactly what i feel on the cold days where's the lovely sunshine weather!?

Spring are one of my favourite seasons of the year when I can see with my own eyes how the flowers are about to bloom and the leaves are light green - do i need to say more!?

Not long anymore - it's the last stretch then most of you will be on holiday! Just the prefect time to do a lovely manicure!

How are we doing today? It's almost weekend for those that are still working not long than it's the long awaited Holiday that most people are looking forward! To have lazy days, sleeping late, going to the beach and enjoy time with friends and family!

It's nearly weekend and also not so long anymore then most of you would be on holiday or vacation.
During this time of the year we are looking forward to a nice ralaxing time after a long hectic year where we can just relax even if most of us spend the time at home!

I have decided to paint my nails in Purple form Image.  It a lovely rich colour and i would wear this colour for an evening out as well.

It's time for another great edition of Crumpet's Nail Tarts presents 40 Great Nail Art Ideas!  Today's prompt was Black and White and my specific prompt to do for this one was 3D / embellished. 

Since I'm still on a learning curve related to nail art.  I wondered what i would do my nails.  The colour combination are great, but how would i paint my nails.

Where have the week went? It's not so long anymore then it's Christmas again - yikes!  Anyway i can say that Summer have arrived in cape Town the days are just so hot lately!

With this weeks challenge in the group New Crumpets Nail Tarts  we all have the same prompt, but with a different pattern.  So for this week challenge i have to make use of dotting tools.

I must confess that to capture purple correctly with a camera are also a challenge on it's own, but luckily I have been able to change the setting so that i can capture the polish as close to the real colour of the polish.

Today are the last day for this OMD Challenge and i can take a little bit of a breather, before the next challenge start this month!

The prompt for the last challenge are about my nails and my perfume.  I don't know who can afford to wear perfume everyday, but currently i wear a body spritzer from Oh SO Heavenly called Pomegranate & Rosehip and i really enjoy the aroma of the body spritzer!

For this prompt our nails had to compliment our handbag. I have decided to use my little black bag that i use when i go out to the movies.  Just the essentials are in that little bag of mine.

The challenge for this prompt are me and my drink.  My drink was a lovely Hot Chocolate and who can'r resist a hot chocolate in this cold weather we are having this time of the year!

The theme for the prompt are Polka dots, That was another challenge for me, easy if you've got the right equipment, but with my freehand skills!?  Anyway i was actually surprized that it was actually not so bad after all!  If i have to say so myself.

Today is such a lovely warm day here in Cape Town during the day, except that there's a bit of an icy feel to it!  So i really enjoy the day time!

Any way the prompt for the challenge are about Glittery.  At first i didn't know what on earth can i do with that?  I'm such a novice regarding nail art manicures!  Then the following pop right in into my head it's winter and i have Tip Top  Snow Capped Glitter and that would give the theme for the winter feeling - cold & icy! Okay so that for the glittery part, but what colour would i choose?  Ice is a solid of water and blue resembles water so i decided to use blue, but would it be light or dark blue or a combination?

Then i thought why not go with light blue, hence Cinderella on ice.
