It's the second time that we have visited Ocean Basket in Plumstead birthday celebration. Those that may not know when Ocean Basket celebrate their birthday then you can enjoy Fish & Chips for only R23,00 .

The waiter have given the menu for us and I will always check the Dessert section of the menu first and when I've seen these deviously looking Tiny Treats I know that I should order this for us to have a taste.
Yogi Berry
"The perfect blend of delicious yoghurt, ice-cream and berries."
It's really SO good! I would really order this again in the future!
Zesty Lemon
" A sweet surprise of citrus and short bread."
My mom have chosen the Zesty Lemon and she was very pleased with this one, but if you would know me I wanted to have a sip.
I would say it's a real winner in my books it compliments your meal very well. Usually I would always order a Sprite when I eat fish and chips, but it's been years that I my body just can't tolerate any fizzy drinks.
Choc Crunch
"Creamy and delicious with a sprinkle of choc chip biscuits"
My dad have decided on the Choc Crunch tiny treat and I can't blame him who can say no to Choc chip biscuits!?
My dad told me that he wanted to opt for the Yogi Berry one, but he was glad for the Choc Crunch dessert.

It's a lovely restaurant to sit back and relax while soft music are playing in the background, but I think music of the ocean would be more suitable...
On the table they give you a complimentary sauce like Tomato and then there was a little bowl of garlic. Normally I would only sprinkle salt on my fish, but this time I decided to add some garlic to my fish and wow it's just bring a new flavour to the fish! Why haven't I've discovered it sooner!? Rather late than never!!
The fish was very well prepared to perfection. I only had a few fish bones. They remove the fish bones beforehand, but they do state that a few might slip in the process.
You do have the option to have your piece of Hake grilled or fried, but we have opted for the fried instead.
From the first bite 'till the last bite of our meal was pure delight.

I do not have any complains of the service that we had received. Our waiter was friendly and professional.
