Dove DermaSpa Goodness³ Hand Cream

When you meet someone for the very first time you will first note their face and secondly you will shake their hands and then you will notice how their hands look and feel.

When I look at my Mother’s hands they have done so many things for me over the years. She was the one that would hold my hands when I needed encouragement, or lead me over the road, combing my hair for school, giving me medicine when I was ill or rubbing my back. Preparing my lunchbox  for school, washing and ironing my clothes etc.

When I take a look at my dad’s hands it reminds me of the wonderful toasted cheese sarmies he have made. I simply can’t make that prefect toasted cheese sarmie at all. I have eaten many braai’s, but there aren’t many that know how to make a great braai like my Dad. He’s hands was also the one that taught me how to tie my shoelaces and how to make knot a tie.

Our hands have done all these things and much more so we need to take proper care of them, since our hands show the first sign of aging. Using a hand cream is the best way to repair and restore damaged hands, ensuring that they not only look younger but feel softer too.

Dove DermaSpa Goodness³ Hand Cream

VOLUME: 75ml
PRICE: R 49.99 at Clicks

Dove Derma Spa Goodness gives your hands the spa experience with a blend of omega oil that’s fast absorbing and richly moisturising. Your hands will be left looking and feeling soft and beautiful.

The Dove DermaSpa Goodness³ Hand Cream is an Indulgent hand treatment for velvety soft, even looking and luminous skin. Goodness³ hand cream is our first spa-like treatment to blend omega oil and Cell-Moisturisers. Specially created for dry skin.

My Experience:

Packaging:

Dove Derma Spa Goodness³ hand cream comes in a slim plastic satin finish tube with a bronze gold cap.  It looks and feels from the outside simple and chic.  The tube is plastic, but the soft kind of squeezy plastic.  The colour scheme makes it look luxurious and expensive.  The tube has a sturdy hard screw lid and a single twist cap to open and close is all that is required. The tube is flat and does not take up much space so you can carry it in your handbag!

Consistency:

The hand cream is off white in color with creamy consistency.  The hand cream is a bit watery and not too thick and it absorbs really quick. A very small amount are sufficient for my hands.

Fragrance:

I enjoy the scent the fragrance includes deliciously indulgent notes of creamy vanilla.

Feel:

My hands feel soft and cared for, since I tend to struggle with dry skin, especially during this time of the year. This hand cream are targeted for dry skin.  My hands didn't feel oily, greasy or sticky after application and it feels great.

Overall:

The appearance and results are that of a Spa product. It's a bit pricey when compared to other drugstore / pharmacy products, but it's value for money and it would last for some time, since a little really goes a long way.

The secret is to moisturize your hands at least three-four times a day.

Do you want to do something special for yourself?  All it takes is five minutes. Treat yourself to a hand massage. It’s a lovely way to relax and look after your hands. Using a hand lotion, work it across your palms, fingers, and wrists focusing on your pressure points. It's a perfect way to unwind, if only for a moment.

Have you seen this product in stores yet? Give it a go you deserve it and please tell me what you have experienced it.

*I have tested out the Dove DermaSpa Goodness³ Hand Cream that I have received from Rubybox.

  1. I've not seen this one in stores near me so I need to track it down. I'm always just randomly applying hand lotion, but it is so true that your hands can show your age if you don't take care of them!
