On Thursday morning my dad and me went to Topeka Spur in Kenilworth Center for breakfast. It was a perfect morning for it, it was very hot and we had a lovely seat near the window. It's lovely to see all the people that are walking outside while we enjoyed ourselves.
How was your weekend? I hope that you had the chance to chill and that you are well rested for this week! I'm back with another manicure post today! I'm also taking part in the #52weeknailartchallenge. It's week 3 already, but I know that you can start anytime. The theme for today are "unused polish".
It's a lazy Sunday afternoon where we just want to unwind and recharge our batteries for the coming week.
Sunday's are also marked as the first day of the week. At first I thought it a bit strange, but after some thinking maybe not so at all. I would say that Sundays are a day to reflect and to find some quietness from the outside world and to go listen to that inner voice inside of us.
What better day than to spend Sunday to sit at His feet and to give all our worries to Him.......
In Afrikaans the saying would be "Almal is vandag terug hok toe!" The year have now officially started on such a hot Summer day!! Life will start to become crazy again and there are simply not enough hours in the day.
To make life easier I want to inform you of a cereal that I have fell in love with. I have received my first sample from Home Testers.
I want to share the following poem with you this morning one that I have written a very long time ago. I just felt at that moment to express what I was feeling through words. I was overwhelmed with what I was feeling inside. I hope that this would encourage someone that you are not alone. There are someone that loves you so much and He still does.
Today I want to share a new tradition that we have started recently by accident. A good few years ago when we have spend the morning in Hout Bay and we were in search of Ice-Cream. When you are at the beach you want to enjoy a soft serve Ice-Cream and that are always the top priority of us!
So the three of us have taken a walk around the shops and my Mother actually noticed the Ice-Cream statue. Which unfortunately aren't there anymore.
Today everything is back to normal for many people and life
will start soon to throw some curveballs again. Not long then the schools will also start and
then it’s full bang into reality and the days of relaxing are a thing of the
past. Our days are hectic and stress plays a big role in keeping our hair in a
good condition.
Today I want to share with you another product that I have
spotted in the fresh living retail magazine from Pick n Pay in the Beauty Spot
section. I should have post this review last month already, since it featured
in the December issue, but since it’s still summer and we do need to take care
of our lips in this Hot season that we experience this post are still valid to
share with you.
Today I have a swatch to share with you. It’s a nail polish
from Wet n wild that I have bought a good while back. I’ve seen this lovely blue shade and those
that reads my blog regularly would know that blue are my absolute favourite
shade. This specific shade of blue
reminds me of the clear blue sky.
