ESSENCE XXXL SHINE LIPGLOSS – FABULOUS FUCHSIA

I hope that the week thus far wasn't too bad, but it’s almost weekend again!

Last week i went to do a little shopping and I've noticed essence lip gloss range that was on display and i was thinking should i purchase a lip gloss, since i already had a few glosses on my dresser. I have decided to purchase the Fabulous Fuchsia. 

PRODUCT CLAIM: Timeless, trendy and beautiful! The wonderfully shiny lip glosses are available in bright as well as subtle shades. They give your lips a beautifully pampered look, amazing shine and fresh color. Glossy and light on your lips – these lip glosses are simply irresistible!

 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

DESIGN/PACKAGING: 

The lip gloss comes in a clear plastic cylindrical shape. The name of the company and a small description are printed in silver and the symbol is embossed on the cap.  The lip gloss has a silver cap that fits perfectly to ensure that there will be no spillage.  The wand has a doe-foot applicator and it picks enough lip gloss to coat your lips evenly.  

SHADE:

When you would look at the gloss you would see a light pink colour with tiny glitters, but when you swatch it you would only see a tiny bit of sparkle.  It’s almost transparent with a hint of pink. The gloss is sheer.  I wish that it was a little more pigmented. 

TEXTURE:                                  

The texture of the lip gloss is very smooth and it feels like liquid velvet.  The gloss moisturizes my lips quite well.  When the gloss has faded my lips feel moist and not parched.  In my opinion the gloss aren't sticky. 

SCENT:

It’s a lightly scented raspberry flavour, but the scent doesn't last that long.

TASTE:

The gloss hasn't any taste.

PERFORMANCE: 

The lip gloss wear time are about two hours without drinking or eating, which are normal.  

PERSONAL OPINION: 

I'm a bit disappointed with this lip gloss, it's looks lovely in the tube, just the right kind of pink shade that i would wear, but once it's on your lips you hardly see any colour, it's almost leaning to a clear gloss with some sparkle to it.
