SPARitual | Days of Wine and roses

Good Morning Beauties,

How are you all doing on this fine looking day? Today i want to share with you a polish shade that i have purchased via a voucher that i won along time ago, but i haven't painted my nails with this particular shade yet. Yes, it was laying for almost a year in my drawer with being used! Shocking isn't it!? I really loved this shade to be honest and it's the first purple polish shade that i didn't had any trouble of taking photos of it!

SPARitual days of wine and roses

INSPIRED BY :

The name of this polish are inspired by the movie called "Days of Wine and Roses

SYNOPSIS OF THE MOVIE

"Joe Clay (Jack Lemmon) is a rising young public relations executive when he meets Kirsten Arnesen (Lee Remick), a pretty secretary, at a business party. Joe and Kirsten are both ambitious, and they are on the road to success when they fall in love and marry. Soon after, however, Joe coaxes Kirsten to begin drinking with him on a regular basis. Eventually, they are both dependent on alcohol. Their marriage deteriorates, and their lives spiral into disaster, as a result."
The movie was inspired from a poem that was written in 1896 called " Vitae Summa Brevis Spem Nos Vetat Incohare Longam" by Ernest Dowson.

They are not long, the weeping and the laughter,
Love and desire and hate;
I think they have no portion in us after
We pass the gate.
They are not long, the days of wine and roses:
Out of a misty dream
Our path emerges for a while, then closes
Within a dream.

PANTONE COLOUR OF THE YEAR

This poetically named nail polish is a deep shimmering purple, completing your look with a dash or rich colour. Like all SpaRitual nail lacquers, the Days of Wine and Roses shade is made using a vegan-friendly, formaldehyde-free and toluene-free formula. Express yourself with this deep and dramatic shade, hand-blended with love for you and your environment. The 5ml mini bottle is ideal for travelling and on-the-go touch ups.

BRAND: SPARitual   | TYPE: Shimmer   | VOLUME: 5ml (.17 FL Oz)   | VEGAN   | PRICE: $12.00 from SPARitual or from Faithful to Nature for R105

SPARitual | Days of Wine and Roses

MY OPINION:

To be totally honest it's was my first of the three polishes that i've purchased awhile ago that are vegan free. The polish are very well pigmented you can achieve opacity with just one coat, but i have done two coats.  I like the "Plum Cap" grip on the polish handle, makes it so much easier to hold. The only things that i have a slight dilemma with are the application brush, it just doesn't give me that smoothness or maybe it's just me. The formula are a bit runny, but not to worry about to much. I could clean up very nicely afterwards. What i do like about this brand are that they include the full list of ingredients used underneath the bottle are a sticker with the information on it. For me it's one of the prefect shades to wear during this colder season that we are heading towards.

    4. I used to have a small collection of SPARitual polishes awhile back. I can't remember what ones I had... It's Raining Men rings a bell, so if they have a shade with that name, it's definitely one of the ones I had. :) This color is gorgeous! I remember it wasn't my favorite formula, but I enjoyed the polishes.
